I am an alumni of Indian agricultural Research Institute, from where I have obtained master’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. I am a part of ICAR since Jan 2014. My present research in IIVR involves analysis of transgenics developed in the institute. We have transgenics in tomato for drought and tomato fruit borer resistance, and in brinjal for fruit and shoot borer resistance. My main research interest is in understanding stress resistance mechanism and gene regulation. Besides, I have experience of working in the area of intellectual property rights.
